Yes. Your bill is device count × tier rate. Add 10 techs and the price doesn't change. MSP tier has a small £30/tech platform fee — that's the only tech-based charge.
Any endpoint running the PatchPilot agent: Windows workstation, Windows Server, Linux server or desktop (macOS in v1.1). Devices not checked in for >30 days are automatically marked inactive and don't count toward your bill. Servers and workstations are priced identically.
Annual = pay 10 months, get 12 (20% off). Billed as one payment upfront. Pro annual = £20/device/year vs £24 at monthly rate. Pro-rated refund if you cancel mid-year.
You'll get an in-dashboard warning at 4 devices and again at 5. Beyond 5, new device registrations are paused and we'll email you. No devices are removed — upgrade to Pro and everything continues. Your data is safe throughout.
Yes — 30 days free on Pro or Business, no credit card required. After the trial you'll be prompted to add a card or downgrade to Starter. No automatic charge without confirmation.
Start a trial, then contact us with your .ac.uk / .sch.uk / .edu email or a school registration document. We manually apply the 50% discount to your subscription. If you're a MAT managing multiple schools, contact us — we have volume pricing for large MATs.
Yes. Our standard DPA is at patchpilot.co.uk/dpa — GDPR Article 28 compliant, no sign-in required. We're registered with the ICO as a data processor. UK-built, EEA-hosted. For Enterprise customers, we can sign your org's DPA template.
Yes — Enterprise tier includes an on-prem deployment option (Docker Compose, your infra). You still receive software updates from us. Contact us for the Enterprise on-prem guide.
All your client endpoints are pooled into one volume band. You receive one invoice from us; you bill your clients however you like. The platform fee is £30/tech/month regardless of client count.
